PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1,3 and 4 to place the petitioner above the fifth respondent in the seniority list of Middle School Headmaster as on 01.01.2017 for Lalgudi Panchayat Union, Trichy District and to grant consequential benefits.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1,3 and 4 to place the petitioner above the fifth respondent in the seniority list of Middle School Headmaster as on 01.01.2017 for Lalgudi Panchayat Union, Trichy District and to grant consequential benefits. 2.The third respondent on 04.08.2017 has passed an order reverting the petitioner from the post of Middle School Headmaster to the post of Headmaster of Elementary School. On the same day, this Court had directed the parties to maintain status quo, which copy of the order was despatched by the Registry on 07.08.2017. 3.It is further brought to the notice of this Court that before filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has made a representation dated 01.08.
2017 to the second respondent in respect of which no orders have been passed till date. 4.Though the petitioner has sought for a large relief, having regard to the fact that the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if that representation of the petitioner, dated 01.08.2017 is disposed of as expeditiously as possible, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 01.08.2017 made by the petitioner and pass a reasoned order on merits in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance within one week thereafter to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court.
5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
