Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2021. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Silambarasan For R1 & R2 : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking police protection on the basis of the representation dated 28.07.2021.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No.442/1, 422/15, 422/16 and 422/17, situated at Kovilur Village, Kandarvakottai, Pudukottai District. The private respondents are trying to disturb the possession of the petitioner. So he filed a suit in O.S.no.275 of 2014 before the District Munsif Court, Pudukottai and the suit was decreed in favour of the petitioner on 15.11.2016.Even then, the private respondents made threat to the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation sent by the petitioner has been received on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11071 of 2021 04.08.2021. Enquiry was undertaken and during the course of enquiry, it was found that there is a civil dispute, and the parties were advised to act upon the order of the civil Court and accordingly it was closed on 09.08.2021.

4. Let the closure report be circulated to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that enquiry was closed, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
