ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 14.05.2024 for the alleged offence under Sections 302, 294(b) and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.112 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to some previous enmity between the deceased and the first accused, on 13.05.2024, the first accused attacked the deceased with Aruval and the other accused have prevented the deceased from escaping from the place of occurrence. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner is the friend of A1, he has been implicated in this case. There is no specific overt act as against this petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent opposes for grant of bail to the petitioner on the ground that the investigation is yet to be completed.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, and considering 2/5

the period of incarceration, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with the certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on the following conditions:- i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alankulam. ii) The petitioner and the sureties shall submit a copy of their Aadhaar Card or any other identity card issued by the Government in proof of their residence address;

iii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m, until further orders. He has to co-operate for the investigation. iv) The petitioner shall not misuse the liberty granted to him by indulging in any further offence and shall not tamper with the prosecution 3/5

witnesses.
