This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection for conducting Condemnation Public Protest meeting near Karur Taluk Office, Karur District held on 06.06.2023 at morning 09.00 a.m, by considering the petitioner's representation dated on 26.05.2023.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the first representation that was made by the petitioner was rejected by the Inspector of Police, Karur Town Police Station, Karur District on 02.06.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a fresh representation by mentioning the alternative place and time and the same was considered and permission was granted for conducting Public Protect meeting. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infrucutous. No Costs.
