ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent 1/3

police for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 427, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.179 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.05.2024, there was an altercation between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, while they were consuming liquor, due to which, the petitioner and others have attacked the defacto complainant and his friends and caused injuries to them. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. In fact, the petitioner was not available in the scene of occurrence. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that two previous cases are pending as against this petitioner for the offence under Sections 302 and 395 IPC. 5.Considering the nature of offence and considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/3
