For Petitioner : Mr.S.Manohar For R1 & R2 : Mrs.Farjana Gowshia Special Government Pleader For R3 : Mr.S.Raja Mohammed COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed for a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the proceedings in T.R.6 of 2019/m1 and proceedings in T.R.34 of 2015 m2 pending before him under Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1969 in respect of properties in S.No. 39/1A, 37/4B, 37/4A and 39/2A and S.No.34/3A, 34/3C, 34/3E, 51/1B, 51/1D, 51/1K in Pattur Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the land owner. The third respondent has filed a petition under the Record of Tenancy Act before the Tahsildar in the year 2015 and 2019. These proceedings are still pending before the Tahsildar for a long time and therefore, the petitioner has filed these writ petitions for the above stated prayer.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the enquiry is not yet over and it could be decided within a period of eight weeks.

Recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to dispose the proceedings in T.R.6 of 2019/m1 and proceedings in T.R.34 of 2015 m2 pending before him under Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 1969, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
