: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing, the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 22.05.2017 and to further direct enter the particulars about the petitioners agricultural land in Survey No.7-1 holding of 2 acre of Punja Land in Poonchuthy Village with in Melur Taluk in the appropriate forum in the Computer within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

*********** This writ petition is filed for directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 22.05.2017 and to further direct enter the particulars about the petitioners agricultural land in Survey No.7-1 holding of 2 acre of Punja Land in Poonchuthy Village with in Melur Taluk in the appropriate forum in the Computer within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner would claim that he has been in physical possession and enjoyment of the property and also regularly paying kist. Since the particulars were not included in the computer, he gave a representation on 22.05.2017 to the first respondent. But so far no action has been taken. Hence the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with regard to the property in question there is no civil suit is pending and therefore there is no impediment for the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.05.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
