ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 307 and 506(2) of IPC in Crime No.44 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the second accused misbehaved with the sister of the defacto complainant's daughter-inlaw. When this was objected to by the defacto complainant's son, both the defacto complainant and his son were attacked by the petitioner and other accused. CRL OP(MD). No.11105 of 2021 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that this petitioner is also involved in three other cases in Crime No.22 of 2019 on the file of the Manamadurai Police Station and Crime Nos.37 of 2018 and 119 of 2020 on the file of the Parthipanoor Police Station.
5. Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
