(This petition is heard through video conference) This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police herein not to harass these petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing on 13.09.2021, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by one Shanmugalakshmi, the case in Crime No.1175 of 2021 has been registered and based upon that the third respondent is harassing the petitioner.

But however, the investigation has been taken over by the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Sivakasi.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11437 of 2021 3.Today the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused in the above said Crime No.1175 of 2021 was arrested and released on bail on 09.09.2021. The accused is the son of the petitioners 1 and 2. Since the accused has been arrested and released on bail, there is no harassment at the respondent police. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. The learned counsel for the petitioners also accepted the same. 4.Recording the submission made on either side, this petition is disposed of as infructuous.
