ORDER

This Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to protect the life and limb of the petitioner from the illegal activities of the respondent Nos.4 to 6 based on her representation dated 30.06.2021 in the light of the Section 15A of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 1/3

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.20538 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry, it was found that the petitioner was not having any document over the property, in which, he is residing. Hence, the representation was closed on 17.07.2021.

3. But, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that he has produced the documents before the Enquiry Officer on 16.07.2021 and without making any enquiry, the representation was closed.

4. However, this Court cannot go into those facts. Since the representation has been closed, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report on legal grounds.

5. With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
