2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3.Pursuant to the order of remand passed by this Court in W.P (MD)No.2670 of 2004, dated 12.01.2007, the matter pertaining to the decision on the status of the petitioner with respect to the community, to which, he belongs, is pending consideration with the first respondent seeking to expedite the enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude and dispose of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.W7/290/2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
