ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the HMOP.No.21 of 2020, on the file of the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, within a specified time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of early disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, he has filed HMOP.No.21 of 2020 on the file of Family Court, Madurai, for divorce on the ground of cruelty against the respondent / wife and in the said HMOP the respondent was set ex parte on 20.04.2021. Thereafter, the matter has been adjourned continuously for more than four hearings under the same caption for "Exparte evidence". In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking to expedite the trial.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai, to dispose of the HMOP.No.21 of 2020, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
