: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioners land which is situated in survey No.162/3A Kondunallanpatti Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering his representation dated 29.06.2017. *********** This writ petition is filed for directing the respondents to survey the petitioners land which is situated in survey No.162/3A Kondunallanpatti Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram Distric by considering his representation dated 29.06.2017. 2.The petitioner would submit that he purchased land to an extent of 0.17.50 ares in survey No.162/3 in Kondunallan Patti Vilalge, in Kadaladi Taluk by registered sale deed dated 8.10.1980. Since then he has been in possession and enjoyment of the property. 3.The petitioner would state that he wanted to protect his property by fencing his lands. So he made a representation to the respondents on 03.10.2016 to survey the land after remitting https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary fees.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent issued a communication dated 15.05.2017 to measure the land of the petitioner on 26.05.2017, but nothing had happened and thereafter there was no progress. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 29.06.2017. Despite the same there was no progress. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.06.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
