O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members to life and limb based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2018.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. The petitioner had filed a suit in O.S.No.149 of 2008 before the learned District Munsif, Ottanchathiram and the Court has decreed in favour of the petitioner. While so, after getting the decree, the petitioner was doing cultivation in the above land, the third respondent and his son are threatening the petitioner and thereby the petitioner has sought for police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry was conducted in CSR in No.41 of 2018 and that the third respondent and his sons and the petitioner were called for enquiry and they have been advised to seek appropriate relief before the Civil Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and that the third respondent and his sons have also given undertaking that they will not interfere with the possession of the petitioner and recording the same, enquiry has been closed.
