PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to give suitable direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 21.06.2022 and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as per the representation, dated 21.06.2022.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent to give suitable direction to the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 21.06.2022 and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner as per the representation, dated 21.06.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents Police would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 21.06.2022 assigned in CSR.NO.407 of 2022 and the same is pending for enquiry.

4. In view of the same, the third respondent is hereby 2/4

directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take suitable action on merits.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
