Heard both sides.

2.The learned counsel on either side agreed that due to the orders passed in another writ petition, the newly elected body had taken charge and the need for appointing a special officer had become infructuous. Nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ appeal. The writ appeal is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
