Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission and protection for Kabadi tournament scheduled to be held on 17.10.2020 evening 4 pm to 8 pm and 18.10.2020 from 7 am to 6 pm in connection with "Kabadi Competition" at Pulimalaipatti village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.10.2020. Heard the learned counsel on either side. With their consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner wants this Court to direct the second respondent to permit him to conduct the petition mentioned kabadi tournament. The petitioner gives an assurance that there will be no communal problem. The petitioner would abide by the conditions which the second respondent may stipulate.
