For Petitioner : Mr.S.Saravana Kumar For R1 & R2 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner from the unofficial respondents herein.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the unofficial respondents intend to purchase the landed property belonging to the petitioner for a lesser price than the market value, for which the petitioner did not agree, on which the unofficial respondents stated to have abused the petitioner in filthy language and threatened her. The petitioner stated to have sent a complaint by post to the respondent No.1, however and no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.

3.Essentially, the issue between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents is purely civil in nature, thereby the petitioner should have 2/5

approached the civil Court and obtain appropriate orders. However, the petitioner has opted to file a complaint through post to the respondent No.1 and seeking the relief which civil Court can grant.

4.Considering the circumstances, the respondent police are directed to consider the application, in case it is received by them from the petitioner and take appropriate action as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
