ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings C.No.R2/150/2017 dated 01.08.2017 to quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to take physical measurement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of the petitioner in respect of her height and permit the petitioner to undergo further selection process for appointment to the post of Grade-II Police Constable.
2.The impugned order has been questioned on the ground that during physical efficiency test, the petitioner's height had not been measured properly, therefore, the impugned order is liable to be set aside.
3.Considering the said submission, this Court directed the learned Additional Advocate General to produce the videographs taken during selection to the aforementioned posts. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the videogrpahs in respect of height measurement of the petitioner has been displayed before this Court in the presence of the petitioner and her counsel. The video clipping/recording shows that the petitioner has failed to possess minimum 159 cms of height, whereas her height is 157.9 cms, hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
