O R D E R

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai for speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.156 of 2018, on its file within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner is the husband. He has filed H.M.O.P.No.156 of 2018, on the file of Family Court, Madurai, for dissolving the marriage between the Petitioner/Husband and the Respondent/Wife on the ground of cruelty. He would further submit that the respondent/wife is very well aware that there is no chance for reunion, but however she has filed H.M.O.P.No.1359 of 2019 for restitution of conjugal rights and she has also preferred a criminal complaint against the Petitioner and his family members with false and baseless allegation of dowry demand. Further the H.M.O.P. No.156 of 2018 filed by the Petitioner is pending without any progress for the last three yeas. Hence, the Petitioner has filed the above Civil Revision Petition for the relief stated supra.

3.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the H.M.O.P.No.156 of 2018 filed by the Petitioner is pending for the last three years, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.156 of 2018 on its file on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
