This Writ Petition is filed seeking directing the fourth Respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for the temple festival Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Thiru Kovil of Maravanur Edayapatty, K.Periyapatty Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District from 11.06.2023 to 13.06.2023 based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 27.05.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the temple festival was 2/4

conducted on 13.06.2023 and therefore the matter has become infructuous.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
