The Contempt Petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnor / second respondent and punish him for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.23130 of 2022 dated 02.01.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the contemnor would submit that in pursuance of the order of this Court, enquiry was conducted and FIR came to be registered in Crime No.89 of 2025 on the file of Abiramam Police Station on 20.06.2025 for the offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(1) IPC and he has also produced the copy of the FIR. He would further submit that investigation is pending and they will file final report shortly.
