Respondents PRAYER: The petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely, Saranya, daughter of Marichamy, aged about 18 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set her at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.) This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the petitioner's daughter viz., Saranya, daughter of Marichamy, aged about 18 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.Earlier, when the petitioner's daughter viz., Saranya was minor, she eloped with the third respondent herein viz., Ranjithkumar. Hence, the petitioner had filed H.C.P.(MD)No.1242 of 2018 before this Court. On 31.08.2018, the detenue appeared before this Court and expressed her willingness to go along with her parents. Hence, the said Habeas Corpus petition was closed. 3.Today the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the detenue viz., Saranya has again eloped with the very same Ranjithkumar. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In view of the above said submission, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Habeas Corpus petition as the detenue has eloped with the third respondent for the second time. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus petition is dismissed.
