ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking to direct the first respondent to consider his representation dated 26.04.2017 to keep his seniority intact by cancelling irregular appointments made against rules. 2.According to the petitioner, though the petitioner's name was found at the top in the seniority list maintained by the respondents, the petitioner has not been provided with appointment and hence, he made a representation to the respondents to give preference in the appointment to the post of Junior Assistant, which according to him, is pending before the respondents. Hence, he is before this Court. Though the prayer of the petitioner is to keep his seniority intact, now, he restricts his prayer to consider his representation dated 26.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
