By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Junior Assistant in the

retired vacancy of one Mr.N.Subas Rajan, who retired from service on 31.05.2015. Therefore, the fifth respondent by order dated 01.06.2017 appointed the petitioner with effect from 01.06.2017 and thereafter a proposal was also sent by the 5th respondent to the 4th respondent. But the same has not been considered by passing any orders.

3.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, sought four weeks time to consider the representation.

4.Recording his submission, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the proposal sent by the 5th respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
