Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The third respondent is directed to pass order on the petition mentioned representation. Such an order will be passed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I must place on record the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent is that one Amutha had already been promoted to the said post and the present writ petition is rather infructuous. Be that as it may, the third respondent shall pass formal order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

3. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
