Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the District Inspector of Physical Education, the 4th respondent herein to conduct the Tirunelveli Educational District Athletics sports event particularly shot put event afresh during the relevant period 2017 after nullifying the selection of participants at the zonal level 1st and 2nd place in the shot put event competition in the Tirunelveli Educational District Athletics sports event held on 20.07.2017 by the 4th respondent by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 21.07.2017 and 25.07.2017.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to consider his representations dated 21.07.2017 and 25.07.2017.

2. Heard Mr.S.Siva Thilakar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner.

4. In the light of the above submission, this Court, without going into merits, directs the third respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing opportunity to all the necessary parties within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
