ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in Crime No.15 of 2026 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the FIR, wherein, he is alleged to have committed offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 351(2) of BNS and Section 4 of TNPHW Act.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the final report had already been filed on 31.01.2026 before the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, and the same has not yet been taken on file.

3. Considering the above said facts, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in accordance with law, if he is so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
