ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the 2 and 3 respondents, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District and the Tahsildar, Aundipatti Talauk, Theni District, to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the lands in Survey No. 449/1G, Mayiladumparai Village, measuring to an extent of 3 acres. Reports had also been submitted by the Revenue Inspector and by the Village Administrative Officer of the said village that the petitioner is in possession of the said lands.

2. Originally, it was in the names of the petitioner and his mother Kaluvaayee. The mother had died on 04.04.2022. Let the respondents examine these aspects and issue notice to the petitioner and after conducting an enquiry do necessary needful. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
