Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempts of Courts Act, 1971 to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors / Respondents No.1 to 3 and punish them for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.28989 of 2024 dated 04.12.2024.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) The petitioner complains that the order passed by this Court has not been complied with. Paragraph 6 of the said order reads as follows: "6.In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2024, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner herein and the respondents 4 to 7 herein, as well as all other persons, who may be interested in the subject property, within a period of three [3] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of 2/4
the matter and that it is open to the concerned respondents to consider the same on its own merits." 2.This Court did not go into the merits of the matter. The authority was only directed to pass an order. Pursuant to the aforesaid direction, the Sub Collector, Devakottai, has passed an order on 19.06.2025. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the issue has not really been gone into. If that be so, it is for the petitioner to challenge order dated 19.06.2025 in the manner known to law. 3.With the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
