ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by an alleged wrong entry in the UDR. The petitioner had moved an appeal before the first respondent. The appeal is said to be pending for almost three years. The petitioner wants the said appeal to be disposed of expeditiously.

3. No exception can be taken to the said request. I direct the first respondent to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is stated that the second respondent was already heard and order has also been reserved. What remains is only a formal pronouncement of the order. This can be done within the aforesaid period of four weeks.
