Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioners representation dated 07.11.2024 and to pass appropriate orders to protect the 100 years old, ancient and antique Vinayakar temple situated at Melamadai Revenue Village, Melamadai Main Road, Gandhi Nagar Post, Madurai without affecting the existing temple structure and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. S.S. Madhavan, Additional Government Pleader for the Petitioner, this Court made the following order:

'This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time by a further period of six months, i.e., from 08.04.2025 to 08.10.2025, to comply with the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD) No.28411 of 2024, dated 08.01.2025.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the time to comply with the conditional order dated 08.01.2025 is extended by six months from today.
