Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey the petitioner's land in S.F.No.1257/2 situated in Vadakavunji Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District measuring to an extent of 2 acres and 49 cents and mark the four boundary of the same.

The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent to survey the land of the petitioner in S.F.No.1257/2 situated in Vadakavunji Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property by virtue of the sale deed, dated 22.08.2014. He applied with the second respondent for survey of the land, on 31.07.2017 and also paid necessary fees. Since there is no progress, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.K.Neethimohan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 31.07.2017 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
