O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Superintendent in the fourth respondent Office seeking a Mandamus for reimbursement of his medical expenses, which he had incurred between 11.03.2019 to 19.03.2019.

2. A perusal of the typed set of papers indicates that the first respondent herein by his proceedings, dated 14.05.2019, has recommended to the third respondent that the claim of the writ petitioner would be considered under the Tamil Nadu Medical Attendance Rules. Thereafter, the third respondent has called for the documents from the writ petitioner, by his proceedings dated 18.10.2023.

3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner had submitted all the original documents to the first respondent herein through the fourth respondent.

4. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to forward all the original bills relating to the writ petitioner to the third respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the third respondent herein is directed to dispose of the claim of the writ petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
