PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to call for the records pertaining to C.C.No.3 of 2026 pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai and Quash the same and pass any other orders which this Honourable court deem fit and necessary to the facts of the case. 1/4

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by Accused Nos. 1 to 5 in C.C.No.3 of 2026 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein they are charged with the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 324, 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002.

2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein, the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. The defacto complainant is present in-person before this Court and she submits that she had agreed for quashing of charge sheet as against the petitioners.

4. Considering the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.3 of 2026, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai is hereby quashed as against the petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 5.
