Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.184/2024 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.184 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992, have filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, there was a wordy 1/3

quarrel between the accused and the defacto complainant. In that quarrel, the accused have abused the defacto complainant using filthy language, attacked him using wooden stick and threatened him with dire consequences. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that one previous cases is pending against the second petitioner and the investigation is pending. He further submits that the petitioners had already filed a petition in Crl.O.P(MD)No.7976 of 2024, seeking the very same relief. By considering the manner in which the occurrence had taken place, this Court has dismissed the same.

5. Considering the stage of investigation and also considering that there is no change in the attitude of the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners.
