O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent, to cancel the patta issued in the name of the fourth respondent with respect to land in Survey No.166/2 Aladipatti Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. The petitioner had filed an appeal questioning the order of the third respondent / Tahsildar, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, before the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District, on 13.04.2023. 2/5

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself even without issuing notice to the fourth respondent, since, a direction is given to the second respondent to ensure that notice is served to the fourth respondent, Rajamani, son of Gnyanasundaram, residing at Aladipatti Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District. After notice is served and after all the parties had appeared, the second respondent may endeavour to dispose of the said appeal within a period of four months from that particular date.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
