The petitioner is the 5th accused in Crime No.5 of 2025. He has filed this petition to quash the proceedings pending against him in Crime 1/4

No.5 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2025 has already been completed and the final report has also been filed deleting the accused No.4. However, according to the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the final report has been filed as against the petitioner.

3. Since it is reported that the final report has been filed as against the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.
