ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in the case in Crime No.83/2022 from the 4th respondent to 3rd respondent or any other independent investigating agency in view of representation dated 09.01.2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the defacto complainant, who lodged a complaint against the accused persons on 02.06.2022 before the 4th respondent police, for the suspicious death of his daughter and a case in Crime No.83 of 2022 was registered for the offences under Sections 174(3) of Cr.PC. Since no progress in the said complaint, seeking transfer of investigation from the fourth respondent to the third respondent, this petition is filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the case was closed as 'Further Action Dropped' on 23.06.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil and RCS notice was also served.

4. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, by filing a protest petition, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed.
