O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with regard to property in Survey No.366/1, Mullipallam Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 06.03.2017 and 21.07.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he inherited the subject property from his father and as such, he had submitted a representation dated 06.03.2017 to the District Collector for issuance of patta, followed by which, he sent another representation dated 21.07.2017 to the respondent herein, insisting upon the same remedy. Since both the representations did not meet its fate so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and also taking into account the limited scope of the relief sought for by

the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.07.2017 (which alone was addressed to the respondent herein) and pass suitable orders regarding issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any of the interested parties.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
