ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent to give adequate Police protection to the petitioner's life and her temple, namely, Ayya Sankaranarayanpathi based on her representation dated 28.06.2022.

The facts of the case are that a land in Survey No.590 situated at Nanguneri Circle, Pauthipadu Village, Nellai Nagar, Tirunelveli District was purchased by the petitioner through registered sale deed in D.No.457 of 2014. From the date of purchasing onwards, the petitioner is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the aforesaid land. The petitioner also constructed one Temple namely, Ayya Sankaranarayanpatti and she performs pooja every day. In such circumstances, the respondents 3 to 6 polluted the temple and threatened the petitioner through rowdy elements and also giving life threaten to her with intention of converting the people in the Village to the religion of Christianity. In this regard, a complaint was preferred by the petitioner before the respondent Police on 07.06.2022 and the second respondent has given CSR 2/4
receipt in C.S.R.No.219 of 2022. The petitioner also made a representation dated 28.06.2022 seeking for Police protection. Since no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that having received the complaint, the respondent Police issued CSR receipt in C.S.R.No.219 of 2022 and the enquiry is pending.
4. Recording the same, this Court directs the respondent Police to provide sufficient protection by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2022 as expeditiously as possible.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
