O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to provide street light facilities, road facilities and proper collection and disposal of garbage in respect of Thanthai Periyar EVR Nagar, Ward No.5 Thiruvanaikoil, Trichy.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that street light facilities are now provided. However, adequate road facilities are not provided to the benefit of the people.

3. Since adequate road facilities are not provided to the benefit of the people, this Court directs the respondents to take appropriate action to ensure that infrastructure facilities including road facilities are provided for the benefit of the people as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
