ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry initiated by him in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B4/7433/2025 within the time stipulated by this Court and further direction to the fourth respondent not to alienate the property situated in S.No.96/8 at Kalipuli Villlage, Melasemponmari group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District pending disposal of the proceedings before the first respondent.

Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Ananda Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the fourth respondent. Since no adverse order is passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property was originally owned by his father Kalimuthu and one Karuppaiah Ambalam. During UDR up-gradation patta for the subject property was issued in the name of Chellammal legal heir of Karuppaiah Ambalam alone. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent on 25.02.2025, seeking rectification error that had kept in UDR up-gradation. The first respondent initiated an enquiry in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B4/7433/2025 and the same has not been completed till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the enquiry will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.B4/7433/2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner, fifth respondent and other interested parties.
7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
