PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.114 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A3 & A4, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.04.2023 for the offences under sections 147, 148, 294(b), 336, 341, 342, 323, 302 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.114 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that during temple festival, there was a quarrel arose between village people and there was untoward incidents happened and one Vigneshwaran was died. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that during performance of Adal Padal, there was untoward incidents happened to the deceased and the petitioners nothing to do https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.9840 of 2023 with the case of the prosecution and there were more than 1000 worshipers were celebrated the festival.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the second petitioner herein was already detained under Goondas Act and proposal had sent to detain the first petitioner under Goondas Act.

5.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
