For Respondent : Mr.T.Senthilkumar Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.275 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 306 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003 in Crime No.275 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the husband (deceased) of the defacto complainant got Rs.40,000/- from the petitioner at 3 percentage interest and Rs.30,000/- was also repaid to the petitioner. However, the petitioner had not deducted the amount from the principal amount and increased the rate of interest to 15 percentage. Further, the petitioner had taken the bike of the husband (deceased) of the defacto complainant and sold it for Rs.35,000/-. Another Rs.10,000/- was also received by the petitioner and he insisted for further amount. Therefore, the husband of the defacto complainant committed suicide on 30.06.2021 at 04.30 am. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, opposed this petition on the ground that investigation is yet to be completed.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances, nature of offence and allegation against this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
