ORDER
The petitioner seeks to prevent the conduct of elections by the sixth respondent in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. 2.Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 5. Mr.V.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for Mr.J.Kingsley Solomon, accepts notice on behalf of the sixth respondent. He submits that another writ petition seeking the same relief was heard today by the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.P.(MD) No.14201 of 2021. By an order passed today, it is stated that the writ petition was disposed of by permitting the sixth respondent to conduct the election subject to adherence to covid appropriate behaviour and protocol as specified therein.
3.In view of the said order of the Division Bench, nothing survives of the present writ petition. Accordingly, W.P.(MD). No.14251 of 2021 is disposed of in terms of the order passed in W.P. (MD) No.14201 of 2021. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P(MD)No.11188 of 2021 is closed.
