Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to sanction and pay the Educational Loan for 4 years, for a sum of Rs.4,46,800/- to the petitioner's daughter viz., T.Ajjitha, D/o.Thiyagarajan, studying B.Sc.Nursing, Degree at the Salvation Army Catherine Booth College of Nursing at Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District.

ORDER

The present writ petition is filed for a direction to the respondent to sanction a sum of Rs.4,46,800/- to the daughter of the petitioner for the purpose of her studies.

2. Heard Mr.K.Appadurai, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the application of the petitioner for sanctioning the education loan given in the month of October 2016, is not considered by the respondent.

4. In the light of the above fact, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
