The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant in Crime No.6 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police has filed this Criminal Original Petition for transfer of investigation in the above crime number to any other investigating agency. 2.The petitioner has completed her MBBS Course and started her internship at Government Medical College Hospital, Karur, where the accused also joined for doing his internship. The accused has committed sexual intercourse with the petitioner for several times, by promising that he will marry the petitioner. However, he refused to marry her at later point of time. Therefore, the petitioner has lodged a compliant, based on which, a case has been registered for the offence under Sections 354, 417, 294(B), 506(i) and 4 of TNPHW Act, 2002 instead of 376, 312, 313, 314, 354A, 417 and 420 of IPC. Therefore, the petitioner seeks transfer of 2/5

investigation to some other investigating agency under the supervision of the District Superintendent of Police, Karur, Karur District.

3. The petitioner seeks for transfer of investigation on the ground that the case has been registered by omitting certain sections. This Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on that ground. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
