ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is remanded to judicial custody in Crime No.521 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 380 of IPC and he seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have stolen the advocate's coat and when the same was questioned by the de facto complainant, the petitioner pushed him and tried to escape from the place of occurrence. Hence, the complaint.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] for the respondent State.

4. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is in custody for the past 45 days and the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] submitted that the investigation of the case is almost over and the final

report has been filed and the trial has already commenced. The petitioner is in incarceration for the past 45 days.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner has been in jail for the past 45 days, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to the following condition: the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam.
