ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.222 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 20.06.2022, the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 2 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the first petitioner is having 28 previous cases and the second petitioner has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.07.2022.
5. Since the second petitioner has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody, this matter has become infructuous, so far as the second petitioner is concerned.
6. Considering the bad antecedents of the first petitioner, he seems to be a habitual offender. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the first petitioner.
7. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as against the first petitioner.
